Fairfield officials say residents of an apartment complex have been displaced after a fire destroyed two units in the building. It happened at Fairchild Apartments on Fairchild Avenue Sunday afternoon.

2 Fairfield apartments destroyed in fire
Fairfield officials say residents of an apartment complex have been displaced after a fire destroyed two units in the building.
It happened at Fairchild Apartments on Fairchild Avenue Sunday afternoon.
Fire officials say the fire was controlled by the building's sprinkler system.
They say there was also a high levels of carbon monoxide on multiple floors of the building, and it had to be evacuated.
