Son of missing Easton couple accounted for
Published reports say the son of a missing Easton couple has been accounted for.
Kyle Navin, who police have made a person of interest in the case, was originally believed to have been missing, but has been staying with a friend in Westport.
Meanwhile, state police detectives searched an ash residue landfill in eastern Connecticut last week in hopes of locating Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin. They say the search revealed no human remains.
The two were last heard from on August 4 at their son's Bridgeport home.
Jennifer Navin works as a paraprofessional in a Weston School library.
