Police focus on son in search for missing couple

New documents reveal police are intensifying their focus on the son of a couple missing from their home in Easton.
Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin disappeared from their rental home in Easton 22 days ago.
Five days later, police found their abandoned truck in a commuter lot off the Merritt Parkway.
The Connecticut Post reports police found blood inside the truck along with a bullet hole.
Police have searched the home of the Navins' son, Kyle, who runs his family's trash business that sends incinerated waste to an ash landfill in eastern Connecticut.

Authorities say they also searched that landfill looking for human remains or jewelry.
A new court filing reveals prosecutors have searched Kyle Navin's cellphone records and bank accounts.
They also searched the cellphones of three other people, including a New York City number.
