Richard Watt, of Stratford, accused of threatening police, forcing standoff
Stratford police say a man is in custody and will undergo a mental health evaluation after a tense standoff with police at his home.
Investigators say Richard Watt barricaded himself inside of his York Street home Tuesday and threatened police who went to check on him.
Police say they arrested Watt after a brief struggle when he tried to escape out the back door.
