Gov. Malloy marches in Newtown Labor Day parade

Gov. Dannel Malloy celebrated Labor Day on Monday with residents of Newtown.



Joined by Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, Gov. Malloy marched in the Newtown Labor Day Parade.



The parade began this morning near the intersection of Schoolhouse Hill Road and Main Street.



People lined the town's streets to also watch cheerleaders, Boy Scouts and the Newtown High School band celebrate the unofficial last day of summer.
