Fire damages vacant Bridgeport house

Officials say a house in Bridgeport caught fire early Saturday morning.

They say the flames sparked at around 3 a.m. on Hollister Avenue.

Authorities say the house is vacant and no one was hurt.

They say there was a lot of damage to the second and third floors of the home.

Firefighters were able to stop the flames from spreading beyond that property.

No word yet on what caused the fire.
