The 34-foot sailboat that has been stuck on the beach at Seaside Park in Bridgeport is finally headed home.
A crane removed the boat this morning.
The boat's owner, John Cohen, of Long Island, says his boat got caught in a storm Saturday and was washed ashore in Bridgeport.
He was hoping high tide would lift him back out on the water, but it did not happen.
Cohen says the boat's rudder was broken, but otherwise it's in good shape
