Gov. Malloy tours New Haven rail yard

Gov. Dannel Malloy joined transportation officials on a tour of Metro-North's brand-new maintenance facility in New Haven this morning.

The new facility is at the rail yard and is part of a $1.5 billion upgrade and expansion.

Malloy says the facility will help maintenance workers fix flats on train wheels without having to send them out of state.

Malloy says these latest upgrades are just one step in the state's 30-year plan to upgrade the transportation system.
