News 12 Connecticut honored by Bridgeport Rescue Mission
The Bridgeport Rescue Mission held its honoree dinner in Stamford last night and News 12 Connecticut was among those recognized.
The human services charity presented three "Restoring Hope" awards to area organizations that support their goal of uplifting the local community.
News 12 Connecticut was one of the recipients. Reporter Frank Recchia accepted on behalf of the station.
The other two recipients this year are Grace Baptist Church of Norwalk and R-D Scinto, Incorporated.
