Hi-Ho Motel hosts grand reopening
A landmark motel in Fairfield has a brand new look this afternoon.
The Hi-Ho on Black Rock Turnpike held its grand reopening last night.
The new owners say they've remodeled the inside top to bottom and even re-lit the hotel's trademark sign that can be seen from the Merritt Parkway.
The neon "Hi-Ho" sign had been dark since 2010, when a bird's nest caught fire inside one of the "Hs."
