Several people in Stamford want to know what caused a driver to lose control of his vehicle and leave behind a trail of damage in heir neighborhood.
Police say the driver crashed into a stone wall, three parked cars and a fire hydrant early yesterday.
It happened along Kenilworth Drive and Soundview Avenue.
Neighbors say the suspect was driving his SUV on bare rims, with sparks flying from the vehicle.
Police say there's no indication the driver, 53-year-old Hendry Beddington, had been drinking.
He received traffic tickets for reckless driving and failing to take responsibility for the crash.
Some neighbors are upset he's not facing more serious charges.
