State kicks off CTRides Week
The state is urging those who can, to take greener forms of transportation this week.
Today kicks off CTRides Week, which aims to get commuters out of their cars and to instead take trains, buses, and bikes to work.
Those who sign a pledge to take alternative forms of transportation on the state website are eligible for prizes.
State officials say taking alternative transportation is healthier, reduces traffic, and improves air quality.
