Conference held on shortening security lines
Officials held a conference at Bradley International Airport Tuesday to talk about how to cut down on the time people spend waiting in security lines at the airport.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal says airline traffic is up by 10 percent and is expected to increase this summer.
Transportation Security Administration officials have been encouraging people to sign up for PreCheck, but Blumenthal says that's not enough.
Meanwhile, New York Sen. Chuck Schumer is calling for the TSA to bring in more bomb-sniffing dogs at airports, saying they could screen passengers and cut down on long security lines.
