Police: Victims of armed robbery at Holiday Inn in Milford were targeted

Milford police believe the victims of an armed robbery Monday night were targeted.

Police say the robbery happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express on Old Gate Lane.

They say two women were in a hotel room and expecting a man to come over when four men stormed in and stole nearly $5,000 in cash from them.

Police say the women chased after the robbers and a witness outside the hotel tried to help, but the men got away. They say the men took off toward I-95.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
