Fairfield bank robber remains at large

The manhunt continues in Fairfield today for the suspect wanted for robbing a bank.

Fairfield police say the man walked into the Webster Bank on the Post Road Friday morning and handed the teller a threatening note.

They say the dye pack slipped in with the money exploded shortly after the man left the bank on foot.

Investigators say they believe the suspect has a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

Anyone with information can call Fairfield police.
