'Suspicious' fire destroys Stamford building

Stamford investigators are looking for the cause of what they described as a suspicious fire that destroyed a house converted into medical offices.
Officials say the fire may have started on the front porch of 589 Bedford St. around 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators say they brought in an accelerant-sniffing dog to the scene. As of Tuesday night, it seems that no accelerants were used.
Officials say they will speak to the building's landlord to see if there was any criminality involved.
They are checking surveillance video in the area to see anyone was walking near the house when the fire started.
