Stamford students hold Raptor Dash fundrasier for school

Students in Stamford got outside today to test both their physical abilities and their minds while raising money for their school.

Students and staff at Rippowam Middle School participated in the fundraiser called Raptor Dash.

Students ran through an obstacle course and did other athletic events.

They also competed in word challenges and answered school-subject related questions.

Parents could sponsor students through a GoFundMe account. School officials say money raised will go toward school supplies, enrichment programs and field trips.
