State grants $2.5 million to Norwalk charter school

A charter school in Norwalk today celebrated a significant state grant to help improve the school.

Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff, of Norwalk, says the state will allocate $2.5 million to Side by Side Charter School.

Duff says the money will help the school replace its portable classrooms and provide a safe place for kids to learn.

Duff says the state also recently granted Norwalk Public Schools $1.4 million for school construction.
