Fundraiser held to help motorcycle accident victim

People in Stratford banded together at Short Beach over the weekend to raise money for a woman who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident.

A fundraiser was held to benefit Ann LaConte, who suffered major injuries from an accident on Route 8 two weeks ago when she lost control of her motorcycle.

Now, her friends and locals are trying to pay off her medical bills.

They say a GoFundMe page has already raised $14,000.
