Stamford police seek shooting suspect

Stamford police are seeking the public's help in find the person responsible for a shooting Wednesday night.
Witnesses told police they heard a woman scream before two shots rang out in the city's west side around 7:30 p.m. Police say only one shell casing was found on Burr Street, and no bullet holes were found on any nearby cars or houses.
Police describe the suspect as a young black male in his early 20s, dressed in a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark sweatpants with white stripes and dark-colored sneakers.
Police say the suspect fled on foot eastbound on Burr Street toward Corbo Terrace.
