Stamford man pleads guilty in murder-for-hire plan
A Stamford man is now facing up to 10 years in prison for planning a murder-for-hire plot.
Prosecutors say 29-year-old Larry Talledo-Torrejon pleaded guilty in a federal court yesterday.
Authorities say Talledo-Torrejon agreed to buy a restaurant in the city last year, but couldn't come up with all the money so asked a man to follow the owner home, kill him and forge paperwork saying the sale was finalized.
Talledo-Torrejon is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
