Police: Wal-Mart in Milford robbed at gunpoint

A man held up the Wal-Mart on Boston Post Road at gunpoint today, according to authorities.

Police say they received reports of an armed robbery at the store around 7:30 a.m.

They say one man walked in, went to the service desk, and demanded money. According to police, the man implied he had a handgun and made off with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police have released a photo of the suspect.

They say he was gone by the time they got there and went into a light-colored car waiting in the parking lot.
