Police rule Norwalk woman's death a homicide
Norwalk police say they are searching for leads in the death of a 54-year-old woman found dead inside her condominium.
A neighbor found the body of Marian Alexander in her home at the Arch Hill Commons Condominium Complex on Arch Street. He says her door had been open for hours, and he discovered her body when he went to check on her.
Police say the detective bureau and crime scene unit were quickly dispatched and processed the scene last week. While authorities are remaining tight-lipped about how Alexander died, she reportedly did not suffer from any stab wounds or gunshot wounds.
Police have not released any information on a possible suspect, but say they are making progress in the case. Police add that there is no danger to complex residents as they believe the homicide was an isolated incident.
News 12 is told that Alexander lived alone. Anyone with information on her death is asked to call Norwalk police.
