Stamford fire crews called to Atlantic Street

Stamford fire crews extinguished a fire on Atlantic Street Sunday night.

The fire broke out at 2200 Atlantic St. around 10:30 p.m.

Authorities say crews rushed to the building and found one of the HVAC cooling towers on top of the building was on fire.

Fire officials say the crews were able to put out the fire in 15 minutes and kept the fire from spreading to the rest of the building.
