Fairfield police: Man inappropriately touched 14-year-old girl

Fairfield police are seeking the public's help in finding a man who they say inappropriately touched a 14-year-old girl.

The incident happened at the town's fireworks show Saturday night. Police say the girl was at the Jennings Beach parking lot around 10:30 p.m. when she tried to take a picture of herself with her cellphone.

Police say the unknown man, who told the girl his name was "Hank," jumped into the photo and touched her. A friend of the girl's took a photo of the suspect. It's unclear whether the man was targeting the teen at the show.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fairfield police at 203-254-4840.
