A Stratford man is recovering today after reportedly shooting himself in leg while dancing.
The Connecticut Post says police were called to a home Sunday after getting reports of gunfire and when they got there, they found Kiel Helenese holding a bloody rag on his leg.
Police reportedly say Helenese told officers he had been dancing with friends at a Fourth of July party when a gun on his hip went off.
