Bridgeport cleans up after flooding
Residents are cleaning up in Bridgeport after flooding left debris scattered throughout the area.
They say everything from condoms to hypodermic needles and beer bottles were left behind in piles after the flooding.
Harry Lamb spent the morning Friday raking up debris on his property.
"This is none of my garbage, but I got to clean it up," he says.
Elsewhere in town, street sweepers were out clearing sand and dirt that was washed up along the roads. Other workers cleaned out storm drains.
Viewer video shows how one resident took to a row boat when the floodwaters got high enough to float it.
The water also damaged some businesses, like the Alex Moon Market, where surveillance cameras recorded the flooding.
