Newtown rejects settlement in Sandy Hook school shooting
Newtown leaders have reportedly rejected a settlement offer from two families of victims of the Sandy Hook School shooting.
A gunman opened fire inside the school in December of 2012 and killed 26 students and educators.
The Hartford Courant reports the town let a deadline pass last week that would have paid the parents of two 6-year-olds $11 million.
The parents claim security at the school was too loose.
