Officials and community members honored a 911 dispatcher in Stamford for her life-saving actions. Officials say dispatcher Courtney Lawler received a call in May from a woman whose father was choking.

Stamford dispatcher honored for life-saving actions
Officials and community members honored a 911 dispatcher in Stamford for her life-saving actions.
Officials say dispatcher Courtney Lawler received a call in May from a woman whose father was choking.
They say Lawler instructed the daughter, Leslie Foster, to do the Heimlich maneuver, and that saved her father's life.
Foster was also honored at the ceremony.
