Health care enrollment fair to be held in Bridgeport

A health care enrollment fair will be held in Bridgeport this weekend, as time is running out for state residents who no longer qualify for Medicaid to switch to a private plan.
Coverage will be cut off for about 25 percent of the people on the state's HUSKY plan starting Sunday.
A law passed last year changed the income limits for the HUSKY plan to save the state an estimated $87 million.
Access Health CT says it will be holding the enrollment fair this Saturday to help those who have not yet switched their coverage.
It will be held at the Southwest Community Health Center.
