Trump Parc workers get refresher course in safety
Construction workers at the new Trump Parc skyscraper in downtown Stamford got a refresher course in safety Tuesday.
The Laborers' Union brought a "safety bus? to the building located at the corner of Broad Street and Washington Boulevard.
Construction workers were brought into the bus in groups of 10. The workers were then given a quick course on the proper safety procedures for working on a 36-story building.
An official told News 12 Connecticut that the safety course had nothing to do with two recent incidents in which debris fell off the Trump Parc building and into passing vehicles.
The president of Laborers? Local Union 146 believes the course will help because the safer the workers are on the job, the safer everyone else is around them.
