Residents call for change at Bridgeport intersection

Residents are calling on officials to make a change at a Bridgeport intersection that was the site of a weekend crash.
Neighbors say the intersection of Railroad and Iranistan avenues has been the site of multiple crashes. They say drivers speed down the roads and often run red lights.
On Saturday, officials say 67-year-old Barbara Preston rear-ended Lee Everetts, 47, at the red light. Witnesses say Preston was traveling as fast as 70 mph.
Everetts is in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital. Preston was released with minor injuries the day of the crash. Police are still investigating the incident.
