Norwalk honors 4 officers killed in the line of duty
Norwalk police officers killed in the line of duty are being remembered Thursday as part of National Police Week. A memorial was held at the Norwalk Police Headquarters on Monroe Street where the department honored four officers and the families they left behind. Norwalk police officers, state troopers, officers from nearby departments, and family members of gathered to thank Sergeant Frank Stratton, Officer Sherrald Gorton, Sergeant Nicholas Fera, and Officer Marco Carias. Officials from the department say the greatest tribute they can give to those who have fallen in the line of duty is to never forget.
