Norwalk police are searching for the suspects involved in an armed robbery at a local liquor store.
Police say the robbery took place at Al?s Warehouse on Main Avenue Friday night. They say two men carrying handguns walked into the store at around 9 p.m., just as the business was preparing to close. The men ordered two employees and three customers to lie on the floor, according to police.
Detectives say that once the five people were on the floor, the robbers took money from the cash register. No shots were fired and no one was hurt.
Authorities say the men took off on foot and were caught on surveillance video. Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call detectives at (203) 854-3051.
