Slain Fairfield teen remembered at wake

Friends and family of high school student Kyle Schneider gathered for a wake Wednesday night to remember the 17-year-old, who was found shot to death in his home last week.

As rumors around the circumstances of Schneider?s death swirl, teens from Wilton to Fairfield say they'll never forget Schneider. They call the Fairfield Warde High School student a fun, free spirit who had no enemies.

Friends put together a memorial group on Facebook, physical memorials throughout Fairfield and have organized a musical tribute.

Fairfield Police Capt. Gary MacNamara says police are working around the clock collecting leads in Schneider?s death. Those with information about the case are urged to call Fairfield police at 203-254-4840.
