BB gun-toting youngsters wreak havoc in Fairfield

Police in Fairfield are on the lookout for some BB gun-toting youngsters wreaking havoc in town.

Fairfield Police Capt. Gary McNamara says at least 30 families have recently filed police reports about BB gun incidents.

?It looks like five windows [of homes] were shot at, the remaining 25 were vehicles parked along the street and driveway,? McNamara says.

Resident Dave Henry says he missed most of a baseball game with his son when he discovered his truck was damaged by a BB gun. Henry says while his insurance company paid for the damage, the inconvenience cost him more.

Police say those responsible are facing stiff penalties.
