Fairfield high school students stage mock car accident

Students at Fairfield Ludlowe High School staged a mock car accident Thursday to send an important message to their classmates.

The accident was staged by student actors. It showed the consequences of alcohol and reckless driving. Fire officials and emergency crews responded to the scenario in real time.

School officials say it is important for students to know how easily they can be distracted when driving.

A mock accident was also staged at Fairfield Warde High School.
