Bridgeport burglar, female partner on the run

Bridgeport police are on the lookout after a man allegedly broke into a Bridgeport home to steal a laptop. They are also searching for the female behind the wheel of a getaway car.
Tony Ebanks says he heard footsteps in his home and went upstairs to find a man holding his laptop. He says he immediately called police, but the man ran out of the house toward a black Nissan parked in the driveway.
Ebanks says he fired his own gun into the air to prevent the woman from leaving until police came. However, the couple drove away.
Police charged Ebanks with reckless endangerment and unlawful use of a firearm, because he fired his gun outside and near a school.
