Despite Greenwich police remaining tight-lipped about the 2006 death of a real estate developer, there are several theories floating around about the case.

Two cousins were arrested late last week in connection with the fatal stabbing of Andrew Kissel. Kissel had been found dead in his Dairy Road mansion before he was set to plead guilty on fraud charges. Police will not say what led the break in the 2-year-old case.

?Thousands, maybe hundreds of people hated this guy, people are broke, they're penniless because of him, so it could be the defense is gonna say anybody could've gone in there,? private investigator Vito Colucci says.

Retired Stamford Police Officer Vito Colucci has been a private investigator for 20 years. He believes Kissel?s former driver, 47-year-old Carlos Trujillo, will walk on his conspiracy charge. However, he says Trujillo?s cousin, 21-year-old Leonard Trujillo, won?t be as lucky.

Some say Kissel was nearly broke and held a $15 million insurance policy. Some speculate Kissel?s death could have been a murder-for-hire crime.

Meanwhile, Greenwich police went to Massachusetts to pick up Leonard Trujillo. Once in Connecticut, he will face charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Carlos Trujillo will be back in Stamford Superior Court April 3 to face the charge of conspiracy to commit murder.
