Impatient newborns delivered in cars

? Two newborn babies in Stamford just couldn?t wait to get their lives going.
Melissa and Max Letona said their baby was born in the car in the hospital parking lot. The proud father of Max Jr. says the early arrival was quite a shock.
?I see his head and body so I pulled him out and then I realize it was cold and the door was open so I told [the baby?s mother] to hold it,? Letona said.
Baby Max wasn?t the only newborn eager to meet the world. Elsewhere in Stamford, Jennie Hernandez was getting in her car to get to the hospital when she realized her new arrival was well on the way.
With one foot in the car, Hernandez started giving birth to baby Mia. Hernandez and the baby?s father then waited for a fireman to cut the umbilical cord.
Both babies are doing fine.
