Couple gets hitched at Stamford ShopRite
A young couple exchanged vows on Valentine's Day in Stamford ? at a ShopRite grocery store.
A black, stretch limo dropped off the bride, Diana Lenis, at the West Main Street store. The part-time store employee and student married Christian Zapata among hundreds of curious shoppers and loved ones."I feel happy because he's the man I love," Lenis said. "It was practically like love at first sight."The young, cash-strapped couple admits the wedding would not have been possible had it not been for the generosity of the Sangari family, which owns the store. The family donated the food, flowers and balloons. Other businesses donated other services, such as the limousine ride.
