Community helps family of accident victims

A Monroe community is joining together to help the victims of a weekend car crash.
Sherry Partridge was driving with her 12-year-old son and 21-year-old daughter on Post Road Saturday when their vehicle was struck head-on. Sherry has been in critical condition since the accident. Her 21-year-old daughter, Vikki, is also still in the hospital undergoing extensive reconstructive surgery on her hand. Her 12-year-old son, Corey, has been released from the hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle, Robert Seirup, was charged with driving under the influence. He later died from his injuries.
Friends and family members are now pitching in to help the Partridge family. One friend set up a fund to help with medical costs. Meanwhile, EMS volunteers are also asking people to donate money to the family.
