Man's body found on Sterling Road in Greenwich

Authorities are investigating the case of a man?s body found Monday on the side of a Greenwich road.

Police say a driver found the body on Sterling Road near the Greenwich Audubon around 11 a.m. Investigators say the victim?s body has gunshot wounds. They believe the man was targeted and that the murder was not a random act.

Investigators combed the woods in the area. They also set up roadblocks, checked identification and questioned drivers in the area.

Police have not identified the victim yet.
