'Tis the season for tension

Some experts say ?tis the season for shopping ? and holiday rage.

Many experts say tension and holiday stress are usually high this time of year at stores and on the roads. Psychologists say the best way to avoid getting angry is to have a strategy. They say people should recall ?what went wrong? in previous years and make an effort to not repeat those mistakes.

Also, during this time of year, psychologists say people get overwhelmed by holiday obligations on top of an already busy lifestyle.

?Really think about what?s important to you, what you really want to have this holiday season and write it down,? Dr. Gil Consolini, of Family Centers, says. ?Do something so you really have to pay attention to that.?
