Some stores stay open late for holiday procrastinators

Some southwestern Connecticut stores are staying open late to accommodate last-minute shoppers in search for the perfect holiday gift.
Westfield Connecticut Post Mall officials say they are hoping for big sales numbers in the next four days. They say stores will stay open late so procrastinators can shop at their own pace.
Many stores are also holding special sales and slashing prices to lure customers. Store owners say they are hoping to recoup from losses due to the recent snowstorms.
