Drivers battle ice on southwestern CT roads
Nasty weather left behind some miserable road conditions Friday, forcing drivers to navigate ice and other hazards.
Crashes were reported all across southwestern Connecticut. Police shut down a section of North Taylor Road in Norwalk after four or five cars slid into each other around 6:30.
In Bridgeport, a bus slid off the road and the driver waited for sand trucks to show up before he moved on.
No serious injuries were reported in the accidents, but many drivers said it was a scary night on the road.
Police are warning drivers to take it slow.
