3 nabbed for alleged Fairfield U. break-in

Three men face charges for allegedly breaking into Fairfield University dorm rooms and getting into a fight with students.

Police arrested Javon Cobourne, Kareem Boston and Warren Knight. Officials say friends of the men let them into a dorm hall. Two freshmen, who wished to remain unidentified, told News 12 Connecticut they came face to face with the suspects in the middle of the night in their rooms.

A fight reportedly broke out between the trio and students who demanded that they leave.

Campus security officers say they found a loaded gun on Cobourne when they apprehended the men.

Cobourne, Boston and Knight are out on bond.
