Authorities say another hangman?s noose may have been discovered Monday at a Stamford construction site where two others were found weeks ago.

Two nooses were found by steelworker Taron Huckabee two weeks ago at his workspace. Turner Construction then met with local NAACP leaders and other officials, promising to immediately implement diversity training.

Construction officials say the item found Monday, which did not look like a typical noose, was on the seventh floor of the building. Police have asked them not to elaborate on the description of the item because it is considered evidence in an ongoing investigation.

Officials with Turner Construction say there?s a good chance whoever is putting the nooses at the site is working there. They also say they will add extra security cameras and begin an internal investigation.

Stamford police were unavailable for a comment.
