Mom, grandmother charged in death of 7-month-old

Easton police say a mother, grandmother and family friend have surrendered in connection with a 7-month-old?s death.

Nathaniel Dickinson was found unresponsive in his family?s Easton home on August 8. Police say the boy?s mother, Ashby Dickinson, and family friend, Daryle Adams, left the boy alone with another infant after drinking and using cocaine.

Dickinson, 36, and Adams, 26, are charged with risk of injury to children. Police also charged the boy?s grandmother, 60-year-old Charlene Ashby, with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence.

The three suspects turned themselves in this week after arrest warrants were issued for them on November 9. They are all due back in court later this month.
