Mayor Moccia grabs second term in Norwalk

Mayor Dick Moccia (R) has been re-elected in Norwalk for a second term.

?The voters of Norwalk made it happen, and I just want to thank you so much. Your friendship means as much to me as this election,? said Moccia in his acceptance speech.

Moccia was able to snag about 2,500 more ballots than Democrat Walter Briggs. During his acceptance speech, Moccia reached out to those who opted to vote for his challengers.

?For those of you that did not vote for me, I hope to earn your respect,? said the mayor.
